Codeigniter with a Vanilla twist

July 12th, 2008 · No Comments

Never has a framework been so easy to manage, and yet so powerful. I’ve been playing with Codeigniter for over a month now and I must say… It feels good. I made a small footprint in the CI world. I managed to integrate the Vanilla Forum engine with one of the authentication systems used by Codeigniter.

That fact frustrated me to no end but from the moment I first played it, I was hooked. I immediately ran home and got my Dos equipped PC ready for battle. So when I got to thinking about it this time, I got a little nostalgic. Then during my thought process I realized that I had the game saved on my pc! January 11th, 2008 · 3 Comments

The anxiety was killing both of us and we weren’t the only ones here. In the bushes across the way, I could make out eyes. I wasn’t sure how many others were here, but I could feel their eyes peering down. We were in this for the long haul and no one was going to tell us differently. Then, out of no where, a lone individual made a dash for it. Out from the bushes, trees, and every other hiding spot there was came hordes of people. There were hundreds of us and we all wanted the same thing that day, we all wanted a Playstation 3. It seemed like the doors of Circuit City were going to be broken down that day, but then we all came to the steps and realized it. The idiot who ran out in front, made us into even bigger idiots for following him. Circuit City wasn’t open yet and they wouldn’t be open for another two hours. Yes we were all fools that day.
