For those of you who don’t know, Codeigniter is a rapid development framework for PHP. I particularly like the speed and footprint size of this framework. Another bonus is that I don’t have to spend days and weeks learning Ruby to jump ship for Rails, as easy as it may be

The codeigniter community is nothing but helpful and in most instances you can have responses to your questions in a matter of minutes. Their User Guide is what makes this framework a force to reckon with. You can find a tutorial and write up for every class, model, etc… that your looking for.
The MVC approach to coding will definitely make upgrades for Arcade Cow significantly easier going forward. Hopefully it will also serve as a solid back-end to deter hackers and would be data thieves.
