The web is filled with an over abundance of knowledge. Since knowledge is power, and can also lead to wealth, then naturally it can only help you to follow the yellow brick road. Today I am going to tell you about 5 great websites that you may not have heard of before. They are web 2.0, They are fresh, and they are free.

Spock – Spock is a new search engine/community. It is specifically designed to help you stalk… errr track down those hard to find people in your life. Of course Google does this too, but cmon, we can’t let the big boys have all the fun. Besides Spock does a great job of weeding out the fluff when your searching for that particular name.

Extratasty - Extratasty is an extra cool online bar. You can sign up and create your own bar filled with any drink creation that your evil little mind can come up with. Pay extra attention to this one.

ControlC – Control C is site based around the Windows key shortcut of pressing ‘C’ while holding ‘CTRL’. This allows you to copy whatever is you have selected at the moment. When you copy, while using ControlC’s web app, a copy of your copy is stored, securely of course, in your online account.

Meemix – Meemix is your favorite DJ tripped out on his favorite cup of Ecstatea. One whirl of this website will have you going “oooohhhh look at the pretty colors ohhh and do you hear the music”. An online music site for all your senses indeed.

Aviary – Aviary is a website designer’s best friend. They make great applications to add to your tool belt and to beef up your online arsenal. Ohhh and the site is a visual pleaser. Don’t take my word for it, go and check them out.
